OUR STORY
Biohacking ORB was conceived in early 2020 with the vision of introducing a new industry category for touchless, self-guided wellness experiences built around evidence-based therapeutic modalities designed to elevate mood and support both physical and mental performance.
The patented ORB is a sleek, elegantly designed, and exceptionally comfortable immersive capsule where multiple therapeutic technologies work together simultaneously in a synchronized sensory experience. Through a simple digital interface, users select personalized wellness journeys based on their desired outcome — whether relaxation, recovery, mental clarity, improved sleep, or renewed energy.
Each session integrates five therapeutic modalities working together in real time to guide the body and mind into a deeper state of balance and recovery. These multi-sensory journeys are designed to help the nervous system shift from stress to restoration, delivering meaningful improvements in well-being in minutes rather than hours.
Biohacking ORB was founded by Abdul Nassani, a wellness entrepreneur and innovator based in Dubai whose work spans luxury wellness, hospitality, and human performance. His projects and collaborations include partnerships with leading hospitality and wellness brands such as Six Senses, Hilton, Fairmont, and Sofitel.
Nassani’s interest in biohacking evolved through years of exploration into both modern wellness technologies and the teachings of ancient philosophers, physicians, and scholars. His vision was to bring together cutting-edge scientific approaches with time-tested principles of holistic health, creating an experience that bridges advanced technology with deeper human understanding of the body and mind.
To realize this vision, Nassani assembled a multidisciplinary team of wellness experts, physicians, professors, engineers, and experienced designers. Together they developed the Biohacking ORB platform and its guided wellness journeys, with the goal of delivering accessible, results-oriented wellness experiences capable of improving mood, cognitive performance, physical recovery, and emotional balance in a matter of minutes.
The philosophy behind the ORB is influenced in part by the teachings of the 12th-century philosopher and physician Maimonides, who wrote:
“The body is the home of the soul, and the soul guides the body; therefore, the body and the soul are one unit.”
This principle helped shape the holistic approach behind the ORB experience, recognizing that physical, mental, and emotional well-being are deeply interconnected and must be cared for as a unified system.
The geometric form and internal design of the ORB are inspired by the Tree of Life, an ancient symbolic diagram representing the balance and interconnectedness of human energy systems. This influence is reflected in the ORB’s ceiling structure, which immerses users in chromotherapy light patterns, and in the vibro-acoustic mattress design, which distributes therapeutic vibration across the body to promote balance and relaxation.
In late 2020, Biohacking ORB was recognized internationally as a Global Wellness Technology Innovation finalist, highlighting its potential contribution to the future of wellness technology.
The ORB has also received recognition at major global technology and innovation events. It was selected among the Top 10 Products at CES in Las Vegas, listed among the Top 10 Products to Buy at GITEX Dubai, and nominated for the World Changing Ideas Award by Fast Company USA, recognizing innovations with the potential to positively impact human well-being and the future of wellness technology.
To support the experience, Nassani and his technology team developed a sophisticated yet intuitive operating system incorporating Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, allowing the ORB to seamlessly coordinate its sensory modalities and deliver carefully orchestrated wellness journeys.
The result is a deeply immersive recovery experience where advanced technology, sensory design, and holistic philosophy converge to help restore balance to the human nervous system.
